Applications are invited for a temporary position of Post-Doctoral Fellow at IIT Gandhinagar.
Project title : Development of organelle-targeted small molecules for chemo- phototherapy in cancer
Number of positions : One
Consolidated Monthly Remuneration : INR 1,00,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Duration of appointment : 12 months, which may be extended based on the satisfactory performance and the availability of funds.
Essential Qualification/Experience as per the norms : Ph.D. in Chemistry. The percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onward and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
Desirable Qualification / Experience : Prior experience in two or more of the following areas: synthetic organic chemistry, total synthesis, design and multistep synthesis and characterization (NMR, UV-Vis, Fluorescence spectroscopy, HR- MS) of biologically relevant small molecules and fluorophores, organic synthetic methodology development.
Job Description : Synthesis and characterization of organelle targeted small molecules for bio-imaging as well as chemo-phototherapy in cancer.
