Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate : 1 to work on the GSBTM project funded research project- (1) Development of inhibitors against FMO 3 and TMA lyases that involved in progression of atherosclerosis.
These positions will be based at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The appointments are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The project is being carried out in collaboration with IIT Roorkee, and selected candidates may be required to travel to IIT Roorkee as part of the project activities.

Project title : Development of inhibitors against FMO 3 and TMA lyases that involved in progression of atherosclerosis
Minimum Qualifications : Ph. D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related disciplines
Desirable Qualifications : • Experience in enzyme assays, protein–ligand interaction studies, natural product research, or bioactivity screening will be preferred
• Knowledge of molecular biology, biochemical techniques, and data analysis is desirable
• Strong enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research and innovation
Age Limit : Up to 40 years for RA on closing date of advertisement.
Fellowship Duration : Initial appointment for 1 year which will be extendable till the duration of this project based on satisfactory progress of the candidate,
Emolument : 47000/- + 7200 HRA
